Preliminary Examination Documents
The documents below serve as artifacts to demonstrate each of the five competencies outlined in the PhD Handbook. A description of the competencies the artifact demonstrates is provided for each artifact. Following the list of competencies, there is a link to each written document. Finally, following the link to the artifact(s) there is a link to a one-page reflective paper that describes the process, obstacles, and learning that occurred during the creation of each artifact.

This vita and the analysis of the vita demonstrate competencies:
Four- An ability to function in face-to-face dialogue.
Five- An ability to create viable solutions to problems in the field.
Although they will not be evaluated, additional competencies are also discussed in the body of the analysis.
